120: Name Game
Jeremy: The show deluge begins (as referenced in this comic, and then this comic). If the gang is having this much trouble introducing themselves at the outset of this leg of the tour, imagine what they’ll be saying and doing after a week or two of virtually no sleep, nightly rockin’ & rollin’, and heavy driving. This comic also not only has the Bros, but it also has its own panel 2 “bro”, if you get my art drift 😉
Jeff: I know a lot of bands struggle with the name when significant band members leave, but what about when significant band members join up? Like, what if the boys from Hanson suddenly discovered an awesome rock-tuba player who joined the band, but whose name was not (shock!) Hanson?? Would they still be allowed to call themselves that? Man, the things those poor bands have to suffer through…
I think that it turned out great!
Thanks, Joe!
Posing for drawings for hot girls is comical when you have a pregnant belly.
Just wait until we bring along the fully pregnant groupies 4-5 months from now! WAIT! That’s not how it sounds. 😉
Man, when it comes to Groupies they have to get the name of the band right, and when they get it right twice…man, you know you got some girls you want to keep around when they can remember your name. 🙂
Nice poses Jamie, that’s awesome that you got to be your husbands muse. He had mentioned before trying to find a way to ask you if he could invite some girls over to pose for him, but I’m glad he chose to go another route. 🙂 Just Kidding of course…or am I. 🙂
Love Bal’s expression in that last panel. Speaking of panels, Chester in Panel one is a very cool pose. Great job as usual guys.
Glad you enjoy the Panel 1 Chester pose, Todd. I laughed quite a bit to myself when I ended up with that drawing. Which was another reason why I couldn’t start over and draw the stage first. I had to make the background perspective match Chester, rather than the other way around!
The tears at the end are the BEST! But wait…is that a cassette tape I see?!
It is indeed a cassette tape. Riddle that one out, eh? And yes, the tears at the end are the VERY best. Thank you.
Love the cassette. Sweet.
