Jeff: And so we meet Chester’s dad. Not quite as big-and-strapping as his progeny, eh? And now, because I wrote my part of this blog second, Jeremy’s apparently expecting me to say something about facial hair. What about muttonchops and a fu manchu?

Jeremy: I have to say, Jeff, I never would have considered that for a facial hair combination. Very creative. Speaking of facial hair, I made a conscious effort to be sure that the men in Chester’s family all have some sort of facial hair. Chester and Sid both sport slightly different manners of under-the-lip goatees, while as you can see from today’s comic, their father is not afraid to stack on a little more. But what is under Pops’ hat? I like to think it’s a mohawk. What do you think?
