Jeremy says: Wow! I can’t believe it’s here – The final day of Inktober 2017. Jeff and I were very happy to work together on creating the ideas so that we could provide some Ouro Bros. content this month on our ghost town of a site (haha!). This is the first time I have ever attempted a daily drawing and inking challenge. To be honest, I didn’t think I was going to be able to keep up. I am definitely proud of a lot of the work I did, and I definitely learned a few things I didn’t know before about inking techniques, but one takeaway is that I didn’t challenge myself enough. I think I could have learned a lot more about inking by branching out a little more and trying other styles, but it was really good to have the practice. It also allowed me to start zero-ing in on how I would like to draw the Ouro Bros. characters in the future, which in the majority of my Inktober drawings is a more simplified cartoony style. I think drawing them sort of “light and loose” is the direction I would like to head when creating comic pages in the future. And now that I have “eased” myself back into it by doing daily drawings for Inktober, I think I may be heading back down the road of comic production again. Thanks for checking out this month of Inktober material! Hopefully more to come down the road. I will DEFINITELY be doing Inktober again next year!

Jeff says: As for today’s image, I just love how much fun the band members appear to be having, even dressed up as each other! Of course, the smiling masks may be just overshadowing their glowers of hatred… but I didn’t write it that way, so it didn’t happen! Wait, does that even make sense?

In any case, Jeremy and I have plans to come back to this world in the very near future. So stay tuned, friends!
