153: Dead Simple
Jeremy: This particular comic causes me to crave whiskey. I don’t know why. If I can put down this stogie long enough to pour a glass, maybe I will crack open a bottle of brown. But somebody please turn on the light first.
Jeff: I really asked Jeremy to go out on a limb with his art on this chapter. Personally, I think he hit it out of the park. We spent quite a bit of time trading ideas and inspirational images back and forth for this, and he managed to work in quite a bit of our antecedents. I absolutely love the feel of the thing. Any thoughts from you, Dear Readers?
I must be patient reader and sit quietly until you give us what we want which is Elle joining up with the good guys. It is inevitable, why fight it?
Oh I know Elle is going to fight it but that will make the transition that much sweeter when it happens. An ally who used to be a rival? That’s money right there, boy!
Plus, I mean, come on. EVERY band’s GOTTA have a Bass Player. You need someone to do the chicken head bobs while coolly finger-plucking the low string.
Great job this week, guys! Seems like interesting times ahead for the boys.
Thanks for checking it out this week, Jason! And yes, many interesting times are in store!
Wow, what an ending. Elle’s emotions really came full circle there. At least with the Ouro’s her rejection was simply just a missed opportunity and not being ousted by the band she helped grow.
Once again Happy 2nd Anniversary, can’t wait to see what this year has in store for Elle and the Ouro Bros.
I have to say Jeremy, great job on capturing the area just outside of Kilgore Travel. You never fail to amaze me. Just Awesome!!
