32: Great Scott!
Jeremy: I like Jeff. Jeff caters (whether knowingly or unknowingly) to my taste in movies. We have already visited the world of The Big Lebowski, and here we are, practically in Hill Valley, U.S.A. Jeff must also like me to allow for such fun movie referencing in the writing of this strip. I so wanted to try to cram even more Back To The Future into this comic, but it just couldn’t happen and still remain in the flavor of the Ouro Bros. I did get to experiment with some more fun Photoshop skills while recreating the light rays in Panel 3, though! Overall, I’d have to say I did the BTTF movie posters some justice with our little tribute in the comic.
And the answer to your question is “yes”. Balthazar’s cold weather gear is indeed a duster coat and a cowboy hat. And Stan’s earmuffs are actually designed after a pair of extra furry slippers I have in the bottom of my closet that I never wear (actually, we may have recently given those up for donation or sent them to the trash). They are the same color and everything.
Jeff: You don’t need money. Don’t take fame.
Don’t need no credit card to ride this train.
It’s strong and it’s sudden, and it can be cruel sometimes,
But it might just saaave your lii-iii-iife…
(Sing it with me!)
That’s the POWer of love!
…Dag, Rock Band 3 cannot get here soon enough… 😉
This reminds me of a Robot Chicken episode…
Leave it to those What no to Wear episodes to help technology find a way to stroke your ego.
So, the Worm Ouroboros is a symbol of the never ending (story, tour, whatever), and you dang authors talk about so much *obvious* stuff.
So where is the ex-pluh-nay-shun???
And, *most importantly*, will the Ouro Bros ever open for Worm Ourobouros?
I guess I have no choice but to continue catching up via the archive.
Thanks.
Indeed. The best way to have story elements revealed is by reading the story. Not everything about the characters and the story has been explained yet. It will all come in time. No spoilers! 😉
