55: Stop.
Jeremy: I feel bad for the person who actually gave up those killer Hammer “genie” pants to Salvation Army. I think Balthazar should purchase those, just to have them. There’s always a right time to learn to Hammer Dance, or wear those pants when involved in ninja battles.
Jeff: This strip makes me think of one of my favorite xkcd strips:
Good times, good times. We had a bit of the ’80s yesterday, some ’90s today… What’s your favorite musical memory from that time?

This is a great strip today guys. Love the Tie-Namics for sure, way to incorporate his new clothing style into their day to day. Also the distortion affects are really good. Brings a lot of feel and action to the strip.
I’m sure as with any sibling, time together tends to bring out these moments of discord. I’m sure this won’t be the last day they are getting on each others nerves about something, but that’s what makes it so cool. Friends share these moments and often things become weird after more than a few of these clashes, but with brothers you could have 10 of these a day and at the end of the day you’re still best buds and moving forward as if they never happened.
Thanks, Todd! I like to think that the tie is as smarmy as Stan’s face in panel 2 (what with it’s ease of drapery) as it is horrified and astonished in Panel 3.
Seems to me it’s a standard, constant battle in any band-type situation. Good thing they don’t have a bass player too.
“Your drums are too loud.” “No, your amp’s too loud.” “No, HIS amp is too loud.” “I can’t hear you.” “I can’t hear myself.” *fist* *punch* *beer*
hahaha ” *fist* *punch* *beer* “. Very nice.
