226: Tool
Jeff: I just really love this conversation between Elle and Bal. Both what they say and how Jeremy drew them as they say it feels really natural to me. Hope you guys think so, too!
Jeremy: I don’t feel like I change up my poses enough sometimes, but I was definitely happy with the amount of panel-to-panel variation I was able to achieve for this one. This time I tried to think about where one hand might move from one position to the next, and how much a back would arch in reacting to the other person’s words and body language in conversation. Consciously thinking about minute details like that allowed me to draw them better, I think. Not that I don’t take that kind of stuff into account with each and every strip, but I felt like I was more focused this time. I don’t know. Talking too much makes me sound stupid. 😉

Glad Stan is writing again, its very theraputic and a great way for him to let the frustration out. For me I never was much of a writer, music, poetry, nuthin’, but I loved to try. So when I get down and need to write to let things out I turn to my one true passion…the shopping list. 🙂 Let it out Stan, let it out and heal my brother.
your compassion for Stan is very real, Todd. I feel it too 🙂
